I'm figuring out how to be discouraged and determined at the same time.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09899197914591801470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1003611370847919548.post-66308091104866655602012-11-06T10:59:21.218-08:002012-11-06T10:59:21.218-08:00You're absolutely right - this course sucked t...You're absolutely right - this course sucked the life out of every runner. Anyone who says differently either ran an 8:00/mile or was blind (or both) because the lack of scenery and crowd after we left Roosevelt Rd was horrible. When i was around mile 8.5 the on course entertainment was packing up as I was passing them - seriously? I know that not everyone is as slow as I am but could the course entertainment please stay until everyone that is participating has passed??? Ugh...

I also think that the long walk after crossing the finish line to the post-race party was horrible. Why couldn't the race have ended closer to the post-race party area?

Congratulations on finishing though... you should be proud that no matter how you felt that you didn't give up.Awesomerness Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00764482586033747029noreply@blogger.com
